What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Kimberly Annette Hardy. Kimberly had a candid and transparent conversation with us today.
  •  Grew up as a PK (Preacher’s Kid)
       •  She heard her father preparing for sermons around the house 
       •  She was six years old when she was baptized because her dad preached on the death angel
       •  Kim was a mischievous child and knew she did not want to go to hell
       •  She used to steal from her father and her babysitter
  •  Being rebaptized during college
       •  Kimberly was rebaptized at the age of 18 when she went off to college  
       •  She would listen to Christian music and write prayers at the age of 14
       •  She established a relationship with the Lord for herself because of issues in her personal and family life
  •  Mental break and graduate
       •  Kimberly attended a predominantly white university where knowledge was their god
       •  She experienced racism, losing a good friend and separation from her twin sister  
       •  She began hearing voices, experiencing sleepless nights and everything became overwhelming
  •  Treatment and understanding humility
       •  Mental health is hereditary her great grandmother was admitted into asylums 
       •  She knew she had to take the medication but she did not like the way it made her feel
