Jamie Gadson

Jamie Gadson is a resident of Winston-Salem NC and is the proud mother of 3 young men,
Elijah 24, Malachi 19, and Josiah 18. All 3 sons excel in athletics and are on the honor roll.
Jamie is a Senior Digital Services Representative with Allegacy Federal Credit Union and has
been with the company for 10 years.

Jamie also works with Family Services of Winston-Salem where she shares her story at special
events and fundraising programs, helping bring awareness to Domestic Violence as an
advocate. She is very passionate about helping others heal from childhood trauma and intimate
partner violence. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Family Services. Once her
children graduate she is looking forward to pursuing a career in Psychology and counseling.

Jamie is currently working on book about her journey through childhood trauma, sexual abuse,
and domestic violence. She hopes her story will illuminate the path to healing for those who are
struggling with similar issues. In her free time she enjoys serving at her local church as a
Sunday school teacher and loves singing in several acapella gospel groups. She enjoys
cooking for her family and traveling. Her favorite verse is Psalms 34:4, I sought the Lord and he
heard me and delivered me from all my fears.
