Candice P. Blount is from Richmond, VA but made Raleigh, North Carolina her home in 2001. She is the owner and director of Journey Home Funeral Planning & Consulting, LLC, a unique service that assists families in the preparation of final arrangements and business matters. She and her husband of 24 years are parents to three young adult children.
A mental health advocate, Candice was diagnosed with Bipolar II Disorder in 2019 after suffering a severe mental breakdown two years prior. She’s determined to help break the stigma surrounding mental disorders within the African American community.
