Jesus & Prophecy: Episode 1

o Trinity: 1 God in 3 person- 1 John 5:7

The Godhead three
- Father
- Son
- Holy Spirit
Who Jesus was, still is and will always be is something we will alway try to wrap our brains around
- We should not want to wrap our brains around who Jesus is
- Our minds are meant to absorb but we live in a society that is electronic focused
- Jesus is someone we can rely on
- There are so many distractions

o Jesus is God. He is omnipresent, omniscient, one with God, eternal, etc

The enemy tries to mask the name of Jesus
- We have an issue and it is called sin
- Jesus is God and us
- Jesus is the artist of creation

o The Fall

Adam was in fellowship with God
- The devil deceived humanity
- The disobedience of Adam and Eve brought death to the world
- When we lack fellowship and relationship with God we begin to do our own thing

o Genesis 3:15 (proto-evangelium) good news or first gospel

Noah found grace in the sight of God and was used to save humanity
- The thoughts of man was evil continually

o Prophecy Exo 3:13-15; Deut 18:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 53:1-14; 61:1; Micah 4:2

Jesus was prophesied in the Old Testament
- I AM WHO I AM (I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE)
- Jesus is the Savior of all mankind

o Ultimate Reality: God is all powerful and sovereign God (personal and relational)

Abraham found favor with God because his heart was different
- We all are blessed because of God’s Sovereignty
