• Joseph was a righteous man
  • Joseph was engaged to Mary
  • He wanted to put Mary away privately
  • Angel came to him in a dream and told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife
• God chose Joseph to be His earthly father
  • Joseph chose to listen to the Angel, he was obedient to the Angel’s message
  • He took responsibility of Mary and the baby in her womb 
• Joseph was an obedient man of God
  • God chose two humble people to be His parents
