What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Aretha Cleveland. Aretha walked us through her journey of being a professional Christian to transforming into a woman who loves the Lord. She was so transparent and vulnerable in sharing her story with us

- She confused her children by wearing those different masks
- Grew up in the church of Christ but taught how to be a professional worshipper
- Adopted mom was a bootlegger, grandma was a bootlegger and taught them how to lie
- Became a teen mom
- Aretha got a job while pregnant and made certain to pay for the hospital fees
- Her mom was hurt and disappointed and cried when she found out she was pregnant
- God was nowhere in the picture because she grew up around professional worshipper
- Going from another broken relationship to becoming a disciple
- She looked at herself in the mirror and said, this stop today
- Aretha took the bible from her back seat and began studying the word of God
- She was asked to embark on a ministry with women
- Gave birth to a God-led ministry called "Winning the Battles in Your Mind"
- The loss of her son
- She received the call from her eldest son that her son Joe was shot
- She called sisters in Christ and asked them to pray for her son
- She did what David did and held onto the Lord God’s unchanging hand
- She consoled everyone who attended the services for her son Joe
